Great game for mature 12 and up
My son had been begging me non stop to let him have this game, but every time I saw the age rating I just thought, nope. He is 12 years old, nearly 13, but is more mature than most kids his age. The thing that turned me to let him have it, was when his friend (who has the game) streamed his game to my son, with me watching. It didn’t look nearly as bad as Common Sense made it sound, and definitely shouldn’t be and 18+. I read some reviews from other parents and came to the conclusion that he will be allowed it, but this game is the highest rated he is allowed. I’m often a bit on the stricter side, and my son can often get frustrated at me not allowing him games that his friends have. There’s still no way he’s playing any games like GTA 5, or Call of duty, but Common Sense really exaggerated the age rating of this game. I’m conclusion, Titanfall 2 should not be rated 18+, and is appropriate for 13 year olds, or mature 12 year olds.

Game for any ages
I bought this for my 9 year old son and it was perfect. I watched him play it and the blood was so minimal that I almost couldn’t see it. The cussing wasn’t even there. I didn’t really hear any cussing. Over all this game should be T at most and anyone who is 9 or older should be able to play it.

Titanfall 2 is an excellent game. Definitely for Apex fans
Titanfall 2 is a first person shooter, fast paced game. It has mechanics similar to Apex Legends. In PVP and Co-op it's excellent for teamwork and cooperation. As far as violence and language is concerned, in the campaign, they use words as bad as sh*t and b*tch. Online PVP and Co-op, your child will be exposed to a lot more offensive language(that can be toggled in the settings though), and violence, some weapons cause minimal blood, whereas some weapons cause enemies to explode into chunks. The pilot executions and titan executions are quite violent though. If your child can handle Apex Legends, Destiny 2, Warframe, etc., they can handle Titanfall 2. I would definitely recommend this game to Apex fans.

18+?! Calm down lmao
Titanfall 2 is perhaps the greatest first person shooter of all time. The gunplay and movement is insanely fun and never feels boring. I have not played the multiplayer as of yet, but I imagine it is no worse than the campaign. VIOLENCE: 6/10 You can shoot and blow up characters resulting in blood spray. This occasionally splatters on the environment. The amount of blood can seem excessive up close, but there is no gore in this game. Shooting and blowing people up is a core part of the gameplay and is almost constant, but it isn’t too extreme. (OTHER GAMES WITH 6/10 VIOLENCE: DARK SOULS & LIFE IS STRANGE)LANGUAGE: 7/10 A handful of uses of f*ck and sh*t throughout the campaign along with other, milder swears. Bad language is not common throughout the game but is still present. (OTHER GAMES WITH 7/10 LANGUAGE: BATMAN ARKHAM CITY)SEX,DRUGS ETC; I could not find any

Decent action and adventure game has a bad marketing campaign.
I am a professional PEGI reviewer. If you want trustworthy and accurate game reviews, my reviews are the go-to. Let's say you want to buy your child an 18+ game, well why don't you check my game review and what it says. This game straddles a fine line and delivers a great game that takes the charm of the first game and adds a new progression system. If I am saying this game is good then, why did I give it a 3/5? Well, the marketing was horrible because they released it between two of the greatest hit series. Battlefield and Call of Duty. I am going to talk about violence later for now language. Language is strong but used sparingly. Mild use of words includes around 4 uses of b*tch, 10 uses of s**t, 2 uses of damn, 30 uses hell and one use of f**k. As you can see language is well within the boundaries of mild and moderate. Language should not be an issue if your child watches marvel-like movies. Violence is slightly different. At times it can be gory but that depends on the weapon you are using. Most of the violence in the game consists of small spurts of blood unless you are shooting a robot(which are a lot of the enemies) which results in sparks of light. If you don't have an issue with the violence, you shouldn't have one with the language. Other than that there are no issues with this game. Enjoy!

Don’t listen to the reviews
Ok so the common sense review has said things about this game that are trying to scare parents. The only bad language used is in the campaign. In multiplayer only a captain or team leader talks to you giving positive messages. There is not much blood and it does not splatter the walls. Nobody, “explodes into chunks”. I have 2 daughters and a son. I was sceptical at first and watched YouTube gameplay and read reviews. And after letting my son get and play this game it is the perfect sci-fi very mild shooter, perfect for a thirteen year old.

Parents hear me out!
This is a futuristic sci-fi shooter game, it has hardly any gore as you fight massive robots and titans. There is hardly any language (almost the same as what you hear in an avengers movie) Overall his is a great game for pre teens even though it was rated 'Teen'

I recommend for teens
It looks unassuming at first but contrary to what other reviews say there is a lot of graphic violence. Every punch means blood so does every bullet. And you can even use explosives and energy weapons to send chunks of meat flying in a gory shower. If your into it it's an awesome game and besides that the language is extremely vulgar but it's a cool game I just wouldn't reccomend for young children.

Good for a little more mature kids
The game features cussing and has graphic violence, but it’s nothing kids don’t see elsewhere.

Words can't describe
I bought this game for my kids and I thaught it was great. They are both 11 and at first I was sceptical but I just think this game is amazing. It teaches to work hard and it only has very minor Sci fi violence and it promotes teamwork. With its amazing play and the fact that its cheap if you live your 11 year old or older you should pick it up!
