Custom deck

This deck was a gift. Love that it fans tightly the same regardless of which way the the cards face. Really dislike the court cards, though their stylized design is well done. Simply preference. The cards feel great and handle very nicely and the foil inside the tuck is a nice touch, I love the color.

Perfect from start to finish!

Sometimes you get a deck that comes across as the artist just trying to do something a little different, but not necessarily extra special. A little touch here, something different there. Then you step back and look at the finished product and say "wow, this is amazing!" That's exactly the case here with this deck. The whole is definitely greater than the sum of the parts. First off, we have a nice box with beautiful foil on the inside. There are nice gold cross-hatched borders all the way to the edge on both the fronts and backs of these cards. The backs feature magnificent scroll work, and a double backer is included as a gaff, but with the "front side" of the double backer (if you can call it the "front") done in a split coloration. Every card is custom. Opposite corners of the cards have a beautiful swatch of scrollwork on them. All fonts, center pip, and corner pip designs are custom on every card. The jokers feature a jester head on a scepter. All court cards feature two dimensional symmetrical characters that are completely side profile view, with more unique designs and patterns. Regardless if this adorns your shelf unused as a part of your personal collection, or if it makes an appearance in your Gin Rummy games or magic shows, this is a fantastic deck!

Gorgeous cards for game night!

I've also got the scarlet version of this deck but this one is my favorite. The purple is very attractive to the eye and the card art is wonderful. I've gotten many compliments on these decks.
