Can I bring a refillable water bottle on a Carnival cruise? ›

If you're feeling extra fancy you can mix both the lemonade and iced tea to make an Arnold Palmer (Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this!). Of course, water is available too— and it's perfectly safe to drink. Bring a refillable water bottle to save on trips to the Lido Deck.

While in port, a small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, juice) packaged in cans or cartons may be brought on board. A small quantity is considered a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12-ounces/354-ml each or less per person.

Free Water on Cruise Ships

The reality is that the “free water on a cruise ship” is usually in the buffet which is often on deck 14 (or higher) aft (back of the ship) so even if you bring a refillable water bottle with you, chances are by the time you walk back to your cabin the bottle will be empty.

Tip #2: Reduce waste and save some money by bringing a reusable water bottle. So you can't bring H₂0 or any other liquids more than 3.4 oz. (well there are some exceptions) through security, but you CAN bring an empty bottle. Just fill it up on your way to boarding your flight after screening.
