Combat with the Northern Hunter.

The Northern Hunter(NH) seems to have 3 main attacks, and is very similar to the Abyssal High Dragon(AHD) fight.
The first is his melee attacks, which seem to be most prominant throughout the fight. Have your tank constantly engaged, with a barrier cast. The NH will jump around periodically, jumping to/near a random party member who is not close. Get away as fast as possibly if you are soft, such as a mage or ranged rogue.
The second attack is preempted by the expansion of his wings, where he will then suck you in close to him, MUCH like AHD fight. When he starts run and jump towards the dragon. He will do electric damage to you if you are outside the cloud/vortex around him OR touching the cloud/vortex.
The third attack is his AOE attack, which acts like a mine. The earth will turn purple and spark like lightening. This doesn't seem to affect you unless you are near another party member, in which case, it will chain lightening between the two+ of you until you separate.
On the whole, the battle is simple. While the dragon is weak to Spirit attacks, I was able to complete as a mage, with a team including a frost mage, a sword/shield tank, and a ranged hunter without Spirit attacks without much trouble. Remember to stay separated and this fight will go by pretty smoothly for you.
