How does it work

Remitter banks are required to maintain a mapping of Member Bank Names with the default MMID (NBIN + 000) and make any necessary Ul/UX upgrades to support beneficiary authentication and financial transactions utilising Mobile Number + Bank Name. Banks must additionally have the ability to add a correctly authenticated mobile number and bank name combination as Payee/Beneficiary through Mobile Banking and Internet Banking channels.
Before commencing a financial transaction, remitter institutions must offer the consumer with a beneficiary validation facility.
