Is the Netflix Preview Club a real thing? ›

Netflix Preview Club is an invite-only opportunity offered to Netflix members at no additional cost. Members are pre-selected to join based on things like their viewing behavior and how long they've been a Netflix member. We don't accept requests to join.

You can put the secret Netflix menu to work to get full control over what kind of content you devour. It's all dependent on a code-based system. Different numeric codes on the service let you browse and select from thousands of niche genres and subcategories, whether you're into horror or rom-coms.

To explore these collections — ordering off the secret menu, if you will — all you need to do is fire up your web browser, type in “netflix.com/browse/genre/” and then add your ID code of choice to the end of the URL.

Preview Club gives users access to early versions of TV shows and films before they're shared with the public. Members also have a one-of-a-kind opportunity to partake in the creative process. They are asked to provide feedback on the content, which will be shared with creators and may impact the final cut.

To be a Netflix tagger, you need a passion for movies and TV, the ability to work independently, and strong analytical and communication skills. 5 years of experience in the entertainment industry is preferred, and while a degree isn't required, having one in a relevant field, like film studies, may be beneficial.

You can select a profile via the Manage profiles option and deactivate the last option Autoplay Previews at the bottom. This setting then applies to all devices on which you use the profile. Just toggle off the Autoplay Previews setting to keep Netflix from auto-playing previews while you're browsing.

If you prefer to watch Netflix without ads, you can change to an ad-free plan. Ad-supported plans are limited to 15 total downloads per device per calendar month. The limit will reset on the first of each month. Using a mobile device to watch Netflix on a TV isn't available on an ad-supported plan.
