The MP5 (Maschinenpistole5) is an excellent SMG (Submachine gun) to use, it also boasts excellent stats, excelling in flanking the enemy in tough situations. The MP5 costs an acceptable 115,000 Credits. It has a slower reload time but the damage per shot compensates for it. It was also later buffed to have a 44 round mag in order to compensate for the long reload time. With the extended mag, the ammo is increased to a whopping 57 rounds, equivalent to having a drum magazine on your gun. This essentially changes the MP5's role from the cheapest high ROF (800 rpm), flanking SMG to a poor man's P90 (the noob's pocket SMG). In other words, the MP5 can also can be used more aggressively in the front lines as a de facto LMG when your team lacks a better suited or dedicated option. It has a unique reload animation. It has excellent hip fire compared most other automatic weapons and decent range. This weapon is excellent for going behind enemy line and killing everyone and then finding a safe area to reload.

- Smooth and good firing (Fast RPM, gentle recoil, good damage)
- 3 shot at short distances, which is insane considering the fire rate
- 4th highest DPS in the game! Only beaten by the MP7, Minigun, and the VSS.
- Good hipfire
- Incredibly good magazine capacity (Even better with the Extended Perk with 57 Bullets)
- Great starter weapon
- Good Iron Sight
- Great range for a SMG
- (Style Points) Although it has a long reload, it has a satisfying slap animation at the end of the reload, which in real life, is called the 'H&K Slap'.
- (Style Points) The mp5 has a sling that makes it look unique compare to the other guns.
- Quiet with a Suppressor
Cons[]
- Long reload without Optimize Perk
- Rather inaccurate in long ranges, not good in large maps like Swampfox
- Low strafe speed
- Extremely loud firing sound without Suppressor, and is bound to damage the ears of headphone users
