- Motto of the House of the Mountain Sun: "Strong and Shining"
The motto of the House of the Mountain Sun takes its inspiration from the mountain sun dragon, and for obvious reasons. Have you ever seen a jaw so chiseled or a coat of scales so luminous? Pure magnificence! - —Nogard's description of the Mountain Sun Dragon in The Book of Dragons
The Mountain Sun Dragon is a rare hybrid dragon of the Earth and Light elements. Its main element is Earth.

Appearance[]
The mountain sun dragon was purposefully crossbred by members of the School of the Mountain Sun as an experiment. The final product once started as breeding a sand dragon and a forge dragon. It keeps the sand dragon's elemental build, as well as the coloring and build of the body (four-legged with two wings) and emanates heat like a forge dragon (though not as much), while also having a large chin and strong jaw like the fiery ancestor.

Relationship to Wizards[]
Mountain sun dragons are bred to be loyal and, most importantly, not harmful to humans. DDLA has given them a rank of 1.
When in a park[]
Breeding[]
Mountain Sun Dragons can be bred from any two dragons with the Light and Earth elements.
Habitats[]
Mountain sun dragons are most comfortable in Omnitats, and Earth, Paradise, and Light habitats. They can live in a Spooky Habitat but feel bad because their brightness disrupts the ambiance of the habitat.
