Deposits with our savings providers are protected up to a total of £85,000 per person by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
The FSCS apply this limit to each person and to the total amount of any money you have with each provider. This means the deposits held in your current account, joint account, regular Pots and Instant Access Savings Pot will all count towards your protection limit of £85,000 with Monzo, and any deposits held in Savings Pots provided by our other Savings Providers will count towards your protection limit of £85,000 with them.
Please note, this means if you have separate accounts with our savings providers outside of the Monzo app, then the deposits held in those accounts will also count towards the limit of £85,000 with that provider.
