Monero price prediction 2022

Analysts expect Monero to suffer a little bit in 2022. The price will drop to €237 in June, to return to €262 in December.

Monero forecast between 2023 and 2025

Time to break new records! In 2024, XMR will break through the €400 threshold. However, we won't see a new all-time high until 2025, when XMR will close the year with a price at €541.

Historical price analysis of Monero

2014 to2016

Monero was first marketed in 2014 and is therefore one of the oldest altcoins. The coin started off strong, with a price of €3.70 in June. Then things turned sour quickly. Monero reached the lowest point of all times in February 2015: only €0.24.

Until 2016, the coin didn't manage to climb above €1.

2016

From March 2016, things started to improve. Monero beat the € for the first time in 2014, and in the summer of that year, the price was around €1.70.

But that was only the beginning. In September, Monero attained a value of no less than €12.43. After a dip in November, XMR prepared for a second run. It concluded the year with a price of $ 13.56.

2017

The year after that has been burned into the minds of many oldschool crypto investors. Monero also profited from the large bull run. In May 2017, the coin pushed through to €50 for the first time.

The first milestone of €100 was already achieved in August. But if you had sold everything at that time, you would have missed the cherry on the pie. In December, XMR's price quadrupled: more than €400.

2018

While bitcoin had already passed its peak, the alt coins steadily kept on rising. Monero reached its all-time high of €454 in January.

However, the rest of that year was nothing to think back on with longing. Divide Monero's all-time high by ten, and you have the final price for 2018. Ouch…

2019

2019 was a nervous year for the Monero fanatic. At the start of January, the price was €40 and after half a year, the exchange rate was €100. After that, things went downhill, and by the end of the year XMR was worth €40 once more.

2020

At the beginning of the Corona Crisis, the infection rates weren't the only interesting thing to keep track of. Monero's exchange rate was also very interesting.

After a promising start of the year, XMR dipped to €38 in mid-March. In retrospect, that would have been the perfect time to buy the dip. Monero closed the year with a price of nearly €140. This is the highest point since the beginning of 2018!
