Masters of Science in Taxation (1)TheBookstein Institute for Higher Education in Taxationis the focal point for tax-education within the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics at California State University, Northridge. It serves as the hub for education, scholarship and community service in taxation in the Southern California region. Established by Los Angeles philanthropist and tax partner at Armanino, LLP, Harvey Bookstein ('70) together with his wife Harriet, the Institute has been instrumental in launching of the Master of Science in Taxation program. The efforts of those involved in the Institute enable the Nazarian College to lay the groundwork for future programs focused on advancing tax education for professionals. The Bookstein Institute provides professional growth and development opportunities through advanced studies in taxation, scholarly research, networking events and service-learning projects. The Institute promotes and supports activities that encourage a greater understanding of the dynamic field of taxation.
