Manage Currencies is a service that allows Payoneer customers to convert funds from one balance or card to another balance or card.
Transferring between balances enables you to have funds available in a specific currency to:
- make in-network payments to your suppliers and service providers for free
- make VAT payments
- have funds available in a specific currency you’re being billed in, if your service provider uses the Pay with Payoneer API to debit your account.
Services are subject to limitations and eligibility requirements.
We currently support the following currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, JPY and CNH. In addition, conversion to CZK, PLN, RUB and VND is available for tax payment purposes (subject to availability).
The list of supported currencies may change from time to time and differ from region to region.
Note: At this time, we don't support transferring to a balance whose currency is the same as your local currency.
- Sign in to Payoneer.
- Choose Account activity and the got to Manage Currencies.
- Choose the relevant balances and enter the amount that you wish to transfer or receive.
- Click on Get Rate to calculate the transfer amount based on the current market rate and including our fee.
- Click on SUBMIT to transfer the money between your balances and receive your requested currency.

From the moment the request is submitted, funds are generally transferred to the receiving balance within minutes.
In some cases it may take several hours for funds to appear in your balance.
You cannot transfer more than you have in your balance.
Some periodic limits may also apply. If any limit is exceeded, we’ll let you know before completing the request.
We charge a low, flat fee of 0.5%. The fee is deducted from the amount to transfer before calculating the amount to receive.
For example:
Amount requested to transfer: 500 USD
Fee (0.5%): 500 USD x 0.005 = 2.50 USD
Net amount to transfer: 497.50
Current market rate USD → EUR: 0.85 (1.00 USD = 0.85 EUR)
Amount to receive: 497.50 USD x 0.85 = 422.88 EUR
The rate is held for a short time period. After that, you’ll need to refresh the rate.
The updated rate may or may not be different, depending on market conditions.

You need at least two of the supported currencies to manage currencies. If you need additional currencies, contact us.
There may be periods of time when certain currencies cannot be transferred, for example, when certain markets are closed. If you select a currency that is temporarily unavailable, a message will be displayed to let you know.
