I think one of the of the most amazing aspects of the internet is that it gives regular ole folks like you and me the tools and resources we need to make money from home. The resources are truly endless and one of the ways we’re going to talk about today is through the Amazon FBA program.

It may be hard to believe that you can make money on Amazon FBA, but I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing someone who has made money on Amazon FBA.

Just think of what you could do with a little extra money to throw at your debt? Or you might just want to make a little extra to save up for a specific goal.

Regardless of whether you want to quit your full-time job, save money, or pay off debt, making money using Amazon FBA may work for you. What is an Amazon FBA Business?

There are a lot of different selling ways you can pursue selling on Amazon, with FBA being one of the most popular. “FBA” stands for Fulfillment By Amazon, in which Amazon fills the orders for us sellers.

The short version is that you have an online store run by Amazon. You are in charge of finding products to sell and once you have inventory, you ship it into an Amazon fulfillment warehouse, where they store it for you until it sells.

When a product sells on the Amazon website, Amazon warehouse employees pack the item and ship it to the customer. Any customer service is also handled by Amazon.

Also, with FBA, all of our items are available for Prime shipping — meaning anyone with a Prime account gets free 2-day shipping. This is a huge advantage for sellers.

In our business, we focus on something called “retail arbitrage,” in which we buy products from retail stores and then resell them on Amazon. These are often products that Amazon doesn’t have in stock but that people want.

What should people know before they can make money on Amazon FBA?

My favorite thing about selling on Amazon FBA is that it gives me the freedom to choose when I want to work and how much money I want to make. I can spend a lot of hours and money buying more inventory, or I can work fewer hours and only buy certain amounts of inventory.

No one tells me what I have to do or when, and all I have to do is make sure I follow the rules Amazon has in place. This is also a business our whole family can do together; my husband and I source for products together, and my son often helps us label them. Sometimes my mom even helps us out when we have a lot to do.

Another one of the advantages of the Amazon FBA business is how little money you can invest to get started.

I typically say that an ideal situation would be to have $1,000 to invest, which would enable you to get a great training course like ours, some tools to start off with, and inventory.

A training course is optional, of course, but helps save time and hurdles along the way. The same goes for a lot of the tools.

Something people have to keep in mind is that this takes time and effort, and inventory has to be sent to Amazon all of the time in order to be selling all of the time. It’s not the type of business where you put up a site and are done.

The thing to remember is that this is an actual business, and to make more money, you’ll have to spend more hours. Also, it’s going to take thetime to learn and grow.

Can you really make money with Amazon FBA?

We’ve had people from all different backgrounds and skill levels take our beginners course, the Amazon Boot Camp.
