Why is my LINE not working? ›

This could be a result of a variety of issues including hardware problems. To fix the phone signal receiver not working on Android, you have to restart your mobile device first. If the phone signal receiver is not working after this, toggle the Airplane mode.

On Windows/Mac: After entering your password, click the eye icon next to it and check that it was entered correctly. If you've tried the method above but are still unable to resolve the issue, it's possible that the login information you entered is different from the information registered to your LINE account.

If you see a message that says LINE has stopped working or closed, try the following troubleshooting tips: Update LINE. Delete any unnecessary apps and data on your device. Restart LINE and your device.

Reinsert SIM Card

Network problems may arise due to a SIM card that is either not securely inserted or not properly placed. You need to power off your phone, remove the SIM card, and carefully reinsert it back into the SIM tray. Then, power on your phone and check if the error persists.

Create a new LINE account with the information registered to your account. If you create a new account, any paid items, chat history, friends, groups, and data for related services (including your LINE Pay balance, manga, and games) that you had will be deleted. Once this data is deleted, it cannot be restored.

Passwords are case-sensitive (it matters whether they have capital or lower-case letters), so check that you didn't get the case of one of the letters wrong. The password you enter can also be represented in a different way — as a string of characters in hexadecimal (numbers 0-9 and letters a-f) called a pass key.

Delete any unnecessary apps and data, and clear the cache on your device and SD card. Turn your 4G/5G/Wi-Fi off and on again. Check or disable any web limiting or filtering services you may have in place. iPhone users, refer to [iOS] Offloading the LINE app.

Why is my LINE account blocked? ›

If you have a verification code repeatedly issued or do anything that violates our Terms of Use, your use of LINE will be restricted and you may see an error message. Invalid password. We couldn't find any accounts registered to the email address you entered.

Go to Settings > Line > Background App Refresh to do it. Sometimes the app can also crash if the LINE servers are down.

Close all running apps. Restart LINE and your device. Update LINE to the latest version. Additionally, issues may occur if you do not use LINE with the recommended system specifications.

Make sure you have enough free space on your device. Turn Airplane mode ON, then OFF again. Note: If you can't update the LINE app, try offloading the app. If you're still unable to resolve your issue after trying the tips above, please contact Apple for assistance.

The "Access Denied" error when attempting to log in to certain websites can result from a variety of factors, often related to authentication, authorization, security settings, or server issues.

There could be a number of factors that affect your internet connection. First, and most likely, is issues with your equipment. Restarting your modem/router will often resolve the issue. Other reasons why your internet may keep going out include inadequate speeds, network congestion and inclement weather.

Make sure you have power – if there's a power cut, your phone line and broadband will stop working until the power comes back on. If you do have power, check: All wires connecting to the phone are firmly plugged in. The phone is properly connected to the mains electricity (if needed)

I can't make voice/video calls

If you're experiencing issues with voice/video calls, it may be because: You're using an older version of LINE. LINE's settings for Allow voice calls are turned off. You're both not on each other's friend list.
