Life Mission vs Life Goal
It may be trivial enough to debate, but it is challenging to find the difference between the two.
We can understand this easily when we define the meaning of 'Mission' and 'Goal.'
According to KBBI, the definition of Mission is something that someone must do. Meanwhile, the Goal is showing the direction or course someone should aim at.
After I attended the 8th XL Future Leaders Workshop, I got the answers to those two terms.
Dwi Kartika Sari (Deedee) as the facilitator of this program, said that the difference between the two is the focus placed on each term.
Mission is a person's life purpose and is embedded in it with the desire to continue doing that thing. Meanwhile, a goal is a specific target that someone can achieve in the shortest period.
In simpler terms, if it is related to life, Life Mission is a big plan. Meanwhile, a Life Goal is a smaller, achievable, and more definite plan.
The photo above is enough to explain to us how we should apply our life mission and life goals to our lives.

Then, how do we apply it?
We can start to define our lives by answering these questions:
From that way, we can easily define what each word means and reflect it in our lives.
In this article, I also want to express my gratitude for all the things that have been taught and shared with us XLFL scholarship recipients; we were even prepared to be able to understand small terms like this.
However, once we know these terms, it will be easier for us to face all existing challenges and be ready to take on our future, Gracias XLFL.
And not only that, we were taught to be able to share what we have got. I hope this article reaches all of you and can be useful forever.
