Do wilds count as any color in Phase 10? ›

A “Wild” card can be used in place of a number card, as well as be used as any color to complete any phase, while a “Skip” card causes your opponent to lose a turn!

In addition, a "floating" player must draw a card and play it if able, and must draw the top card from the discard pile if it can be played; thus the floating player can be forced to play on their next turn instead of drawing and discarding. The floating player can also be skipped as normal.

You must have the whole Phase in hand before laying it down. You may lay down more than the minimum requirements of a Phase, but only if the additional cards can be directly added to the cards already in the Phase.

Each person is dealt 10 cards. There are 10 phases. A phase may be 2 sets of 3 cards, meaning 2 sets of 3 of the same number. A phase may be a run of 7. Meaning seven numbers in order.

Cards with a numeric value 1 - 9 are worth 5 points each. Cards with a numeric value of 10 - 12 are worth 10 points each. Skip and Wild Cards are worth 25 points each. Note: Color of cards has no impact on scoring.

Once a "wild" card has been played in a Phase, it cannot be replaced by the intended card and used elsewhere. It must remain as that card until the hand is over. If the dealer starts the discard pile with a "Wild" card, the card may be picked up by the first player. A "wild" card may not be used as a "skip" card.

A player who has collected all of the cards needed to complete the entire phase may lay down the phase on their turn. The entire phase must be played at once, so if the player is on the 1st phase, they must play 2 sets of 3 cards at once. Players cannot lay down a partial phase.

One thing Phase 10 has in common with Uno—a large part of the game is luck in the cards you draw. And if you're unlucky, in just a few rounds you can fall far behind super easily. Yes, it's possible to catch up if you get your phase and those ahead of you don't.

Can a run in Phase 10 go from 12 to 1? ›

Cards count as face value when we calculate points. You must skip the guy with the lowest points, even if it means skipping yourself. Runs can keep going after 12, you just start back at 1 again.

Phase 10 Strategy is played over several rounds. Each round players take it in turn to move their counter around the board to decide on card combinations called "phases". Players need to plan their moves well, as they can only form a phase if their counter is in the appropriate space.

Why do some cards bounce in my hand? A card that jumps in your hand can be added to a phase already in the middle. Remember to check your opponents' phases and play your cards into them as well!

Phase 10 is a multi-player card game, similar to Rummy. Each player is dealt 10 cards and tries to complete the 10 designated "phases" (ex. Phase 1: Earn 2 sets of 3, Phase 2: Earn 1 set of 3 & 1 run of 4, etc.). Players must complete the designated "phase" before moving on to the next one.

White, blue, black, red, and green are also five of the six mana types – and the sixth mana type, as defined by rule 106.1b, is colorless. Colorless is not a color. When a card asks you to choose a mana color, you can't choose colorless.

SCORING: At the end of the turn, the player scores points for the Phase the player is working on, only if the player makes that Phase. The score is the total of all the dice used to make that Phase. Dice not needed for the Phase are not scored. Also any Wilds (W's) used in the Phase score zero points each.

UNO All Wild! Rules. Play any Wild card or action card on your turn (like Wild Reverse, Skip, Double Skip, or Targeted Draw 2)—your goal is to get rid of all the cards in your hand first. Say UNO when you're playing your second-to-last card before any other players can.
