What is level AA? ›

WCAG Level AA – Strong accessibility

While WCAG Level A allows organisations to cover the basics, WCAG Level AA goes further toward making web content accessible for users in a wider variety of contexts. It is for this reason that most accessibility experts recommend this conformance level.

The W3C recommends conforming to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Websites that follow all Level AA success criteria are generally considered accessible for most users with disabilities.

The Associate of Arts (A.A.) and Associate of Science (A.S.) degrees are general transfer degrees. Completion of either program indicates the student has completed a course of study equivalent to the first two years of a bachelor's degree.

Level AA books usually include one sight word and a picture word. Level AA books are perfect for emerging readers who are just getting used to pointing one to one and tracking text. They also help build reading confidence as students become able to read them themselves.

Thus, an A is a 95, halfway between 90 and 100. An A- is a 91.25, halfway between 90 and 92.5. Etc. Grades between these are averages.

There are four American Airlines status levels: Gold (40,000 loyalty points), Platinum (75,000 loyalty points), Platinum Pro (125,000 loyalty points) and Executive Platinum (200,000).

A+, A, A- indicates excellent performance. B+, B, B- indicates good performance. C+, C, C- indicates satisfactory performance.

If your application gets accepted, then there are generally two types of associate degrees to choose from: an Associate of Science Degree (AS) or an Associate of Arts Degree (AA). The difference between an AA and and AS degree is the focus and educational paths they prepare you for.

What does AA mean academically? ›

The Associate in Arts (AA) degree is best suited for transfer to a four-year college for many majors. In addition, the AA degree provides the most flexibility for students that are undecided about a transfer college or major. The AA degree requires 45 credits of core (general education) coursework.

If you prefer learning about subjects related to humanities, an AA will likely suit your interests best. Alternatively, give preference to AS programs if you are skilled in math and science. Additionally, remember that AAS degrees are intended to help students prepare to join the work force as soon as possible.

Associate in Arts (AA)

The Associate in Arts degree (AA) is a general studies degree. It can stand alone, giving you the skills to enter the workforce. Or, it can be the first steps towards earning a bachelor degree at a four-year university.

WCAG 2.0 guidelines are categorized into three levels of conformance in order to meet the needs of different groups and different situations: A (lowest), AA (mid range), and AAA (highest). Conformance at higher levels indicates conformance at lower levels.

AAA at A Level is equivalent to 144 UCAS points.

This is because an A Level A grade is worth 48 points. And 48 x 3 is 144. Simple! While some universities include UCAS points in their entry requirements, others ask for specific A Level combinations.
