Change your search engine
On a Pixel device
Important: The instructions below only apply to the European Economic Area (EEA).
- On your Pixel phone or tablet, touch and hold the search bar on your home screen.
- Tap Settings

- On your Android device, touch and hold an empty space on your home screen.
- Tap Widgets .
- Select your preferred search engine app.
- Touch and hold, then drag the search engine to your home screen.
- If you don't find the search engine you want to use, install it from the Play Store.
.On an Android device through Chrome settings
- On your Android device, open Chrome .
- Tap More Settings .
- Under “Basics,” select Search engine.
- Select the search engine you want to use in Chrome.
