What are the controls for RCS in KSP? ›

Turn on RCS with the R key. If you would like to use the docking mode (middle icon in the bottom left corner), then use the spacebar to toggle between linear and rotation modes. In linear (LIN) mode, WASD keys move you forward/back/left/right and left shift and control are up/down.

Activate RCS (the default key is R ) and the controls will be very similar to the EVA controls. W S will be used to move forward and backwards, A D will be used to move left and right, ⇧ Shift and ^ Ctrl will be used to move up and down.

RCS is your best opt to slow down your rocket in longer terms. Use the up button on the pad and they can slow down a rocket efficiently.
