Payday 2 is a considerably mature game. A parent may want to consider waiting longer than my personally-recommended 13 to allow their child to play it; there's drugs, alcohol, the rare sexual connotation, and mostly non-graphic violence involved, sometimes against "innocents", even though it punishes the player for doing so. If it weren't for that, I'd estimate the rating higher, because games with skewed morals as part of the plot tend to be bad for children. But, if they reinforce the right things, by allowing the player to make a decision and rewarding them for doing the "right" thing? It's outright good for children.Most 13 year olds would be fine to play this game. I myself played when I was 12, and if they're mature enough it's a great game for young audiences; it challenges their critical thinking abilities, their ability to work as a team, improves mental processes for learning and processing instructions, etc. Add in a bit of Randomization to keep players on their toes, and it's great for keeping young audience's minds active. I just recommend that you get mods- player-produced adjustments to the game- to reduce the frustrations caused by the game's 10 years of age, as well as ones to reduce or remove the amounts of gore, drugs, violence, and sexual connotations the game has, mods approved by the developers of the game which can be found on 'Modworkshop'; just be wary that, although they're simple to install and use, mods of the same type can conflict, and cheat mods exist that have significant amounts of rules for use. If in doubt, check the tags to see if they're a cheat mod, and check the mod list for red conflicts in 'Settings/Advanced/Mods' in Payday 2's settings once installed. Not using them is completely optional, but will allow your children to better enjoy the game. It's entirely up to the parent's discretion which mods to use and whether or not to use them at all, as with all things.

Granted this game is very profanity rich in loud you will hear the words f*ck, sh*t, bitch, c*nt, wanker, dick, co*ck, whor*, puss*, and dumbass about every 30 seconds other then that its a great game About drug there is a decent amount but no-one onscreen takes any however in the level three safehouse bar jimmy can be found drunk next to bricks of cocaine and in three missions you cook meth. And about the cop there not real humans as a big bank Easter egg on the stock ticker show a company called clone-a-cop and the money you steal is from a corrupt government part of a cult society to the dentist who betrays you and in one of 2? ending to the games shoots a handicapped bain in the head. And in the good ending bain dies naturally and his soul becomes one with the president and pardons the crew. A for killing a civilian you can lose up to 80 thousand dollars a hefty penalty. granted DLC is very pricey however this can be resolved with a p3dhack unlocker with the only downside being a cheater tag which only affects online usually getting you kicked which if you play offline is no problem. As for the gore there are games on roblox that are more gory and bloody than this game hell a well done steak has more blood than this game. As for ease of play the game I relatively easy on PC as I have not played the console version I can not say for that one. Without mods there is minimal nudity most of it being from tight dresses. The soundtrack and heist experiences especially nighttime stealth is PERFECT 100/10 granted the game is buggy but its on the diesel engine and released 2013. The gun and melee use is smooth although the package system is annoying. The infamy system means there is no end to the game for real till about 10000 hours in. The online community is super nice and voice chat is like a stand up comedy session usually for me. Some heist are a bit too much such as meltdown but it does not out weight the morale good. It also show that despite the government meaning to do good everyone can be corrupted and as for the gang what matters is one the inside not outside meaning even thought they are criminals they mean good for the earth. TLDR 1000/10 game although a bit mature

I think the game is okay for people 14 and up only because of the violence, half the game is killing hundreds of cops and swat officers while waiting for the drill to... drill. other than that, the game also punishes you for killing hosteges. the bad graphics mask most of the violence. the game is fun if you like solo shooters. if your parents let you play games like Fortnite or Call of Duty, then you should be fine if you just turn off the volume

PAYDAY 2 is one of the best games I have ever played it is about robbing banks and stealing I think mature 9 and 10 would be ok' but all 11 year olds will probably be able to handle it . There is blood but no gore and swear words including f--- and s--- and more bad words it doesn't have good role models. It is very fun and has very little violence and it is worth all the bad stuff for how fun it is.

AMAZING GAME although it depends if your child is a friend with themes such as strong langauge, and violence, but if your child is, then they should be suited for this game

Payday 2 is a really good, entertaining, and fun game to play. It has wonderful story writing and gameplay. If anyone doesn't agree with what age rating I think it should have been... well get over it, crime makes up almost half of what happens everyday, its just realistic I guess.

Game is amazing. There are mods you can run for the art gallery to make it safer but come on if you pay even a second of attention to the game you realize why they are stealing. The world is ruined, most of them have been blackmailed, fired, or just want to live life a different way. Game is amazing and there are drug missions but come on, you never use it and there is maybe once where others use it. Anyway I hope this is helpful.

This is a beautiful shooter. The fact this game has about 30,000 people online at once is amazing, and the mechanics are great. Good for strategy and fps players alike. I personally have 50+ hours in this game. Although there are many, many dlc’s, this game is still great solo, or with friends. There is a lot of swearing, though.

The payday gang is basically a terrorist group in this game but contrary to what lies on the surface their extremely violent approach to things is to prove a point with a corrupt government. The story is a lot more complex than that but it makes sense that common sense didn’t find it because it’s hard to follow along. Also lots of the contracts can be done stealthily drastically lowering the body count. Great game with an interesting story but I’d recommend waiting until your teen is ready to handle the incredibly frequent cursing and violence
