Comedian and actor Kevin Hart gave his thoughts on Tom Brady's comments regarding the former football star's Netflix roast.
Brady told the The Pivot Podcast in May that even though he liked the jokes poking fun at him, he regretted how those jokes impacted his children.
"I wouldn't do that again, because of the way it affected actually the people I care about the most," Brady said.
Several months later, Hart who hosted the roast, gave his two cents in an interview withBleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks. He said that Brady most likely didn't regret the whole roast, just the way he approached it.
"When he says he regretted doing it, I don't think he's referring to the 'it,'" Hart said. "What he's referring to is saying, 'I could have tapered it a little differently.'"
Hart elaborated that he believes that Brady would have wanted to vet and caution the jokes made about him so that it did not make his family uncomfortable.
Many ofthe night's jokeswere targeted atBrady'skids, his ex-wife,Gisele Bundchen, and other personal aspects of his life.
Brady did not say which jokes particularly offended his children.
