On the light side, 7.5 or 7.75 lbs.
Average, about 8.2 to 8.6 lbs.
A lot of the 90's Japanese models were 9 lbs plus.
I got to play a vintage 7lb Jazzmaster. It was unreal how perfect that guitar felt.

heavier than strats and tells for sure
go to the warmoth website and check out the strat and tele bodies for sale
(CHECK THEIR WEIGHT)
..then check out the Jazzmasters on the same sight
that will give you an idea of how much certain body shapes and certain wood types normally weigh
to sum it up: they are bigger so they are heavier

My CIJ Jazzmaster (mid '06 to '08, I think) is 8 lb, 8 oz. About a pound heavier than I'd like, but surprisingly comfortable, especially with a wide, padded strap.
