Nowhere did I advocate "intentionally" submerging an iPhone15. Simply clarifying the 15s water resistance which is explicitly stated as "These models have a rating of IP68 under IEC standard 60529 (maximum depth of 6 meters up to 30 minutes)" Nowhere did I recommend intentional submersion, however, nothing is wrong with citing Apple's own information that an inadvertent drop into water (in a depth of 6 meters of less, is unlikely to cause damage to a physically uncompromised iPhone 15. Not sure where you pulled this info from or how dated it is but here is a link to Apple Support's website page which specifically addresses the water resistance of every model of iPhone ever made since the 7, including the 15s.
