WhatsApp is basically designed to be used on mobile phones with an active phone number, however, it is also possible to use WhatsApp on PC without a mobile phone. Here is a step-by-step guide for it.

There are multiple ways to use WhatsApp on PC or a Mac - each with its own set of advantages and disadvantages. Android emulators like “BlueStacks” or “Andy” create an Android-like environment for your PC allowing you to run apps like WhatsApp without a phone.
However, we have to add that this is not the best way to run WhatsApp on a laptop or system, and you may face issues while using it on your desktop as well. Going by the standard way is the best option which includes scanning the QR Code with your smartphone that has WhatsApp installed.
How to use WhatsApp on laptop without phone
Here we explain how you can use the WhatsApp app on your laptop or personal computerwithout having a phone.
STEP 1
Go to the Emulator website
Go to Andy Android Emulator’s website and click on Download and then click on the downloaded file to install the emulator.
STEP 2
Instructions and permissions
Follow the download instructions that come up on screen and provide the necessary and required permissions to the emulator.
STEP 3
Search the required app
Once the Andy emulator is installed, double click on the icon to openit and search for ‘WhatApp’ in the search box at the top.
STEP 4
Install the app
Click on the Install button and wait for the app to be installed. You can then run WhatsApp and enter you phone number.
STEP 5
Authenticating the app
Run WhatsApp on your laptop or PCand authenticate using the OTP. Later enter your name as well.
