Larger rubber stampsoften end up too big to press down on a regular ink pad. But you can still use your ink pad with your rubber stamp. Just make sure to use a raised bed ink pad, as shown in the photos below.
Step OneTurn your rubber stamp over so that the stamp is facing upwards.
Step TwoUsing your raised bed ink pad, fold the lid all the way back and then pat the ink pad gently onto the stamp until the whole illustration is lightly inked. A little goes a long way with rubber stamps, there is no need to press any harder than a light dab. Just make sure that the full area of the stamp is covered with ink.
Step ThreeTurn the stamp back over and carefully place it onto the surface you wish to stamp. We recommend to do this with both hands to make sure you have the best control of the stamp. This helps achieve a more even impression.
Step FourApply a small amount of even pressure to the stamp. Again, you don't need to be too forceful here.
Step FiveRemove the stamp, et voilà!
