Hanging out with your friends doesn’t have to be expensive

A lot of us are feeling the recession crunch right about now. And, in the new year, we will see the rise of just about everything.
This might make you feel like you need to become a hermit in order to save money. Going out with friends is too expensive. So is going to the theatres to watch that new movie.
Everywhere we look, we are all feeling it. It seems like an impossible task to save money while paying all your bills each month. The ‘no-money’ feeling can get you down quickly.
The good news is that, even while some of us are paying off serious debt, there are tricks to socialize, have fun and enjoy life without breaking the bank.
First of all, socializing doesn’t have to mean spending more. If your social circle can get on the same page, you can work together to save money.
Gather your friends and family together and make a plan to buy in bulk together. Bulk shopping is still a better deal than the grocery store. In the long term (over months), this can really help cut corners when it comes to the grocery bill.
