Note: For security reasons, users with a combined balance of more than USD $1000 equivalent will be required to go through the verification process with our support team. The following message will be displayed for these users.
2. Enter your Date of Birth and Verification Code
Please note that you will be able to continue, only when you enter the SMS OTP (one-time-password) sent to your mobile phone number and your date of birth.
Note:
The app will be locked for 4 hours after 3 failed attempts
The passcode reset email will be sent to your registered email address
Please contact our support team if your app is locked, and your email address and/or mobile number have changed.
3. Tap Open Email.
4. Find the reset email and use the "Log In" button there.
If you do not have the correct password or an accurate recovery phrase, then access to the wallet and any funds contained in your DeFi Wallet have been lost.
Launch the Crypto.com App and tap Log In to Existing Account. Enter and verify your registered email address. Confirm the reason for locking your account. You will be requested to complete identity verification in the App to unlock your account or contact our Customer Support Team for a manual unlock.
What happens if I forget my Crypto.com Wallet Extension's password? If this happens, you can reset your password by simply importing your wallet again with its recovery phrase in the Wallet Extension's main page. Click Reset your wallet and follow the onscreen instructions thereafter.
If you have lost or forgotten your spending password, you will need to delete the sub-wallet from your device and then restore your wallet using your automated cloud backup master password or the 12-word backup phrase for your wallet. Please find instructions to restore your Bitcoin.com wallet here.
You can recover your Trust Wallet by selecting the “Recover Wallet” option on the app's login screen. Typically, you'll need your recovery phrase or mnemonic seed to regain access. If you have that, follow the prompts and input the seed to restore your wallet.
How to restore your wallet from manually inputting a recovery phrase. As long as you have written down the words of your recovery phrase (typically between 12 and 24 words), you will always be able to restore your old/lost wallets by using that phrase. Steps will differ slightly from wallet to wallet.
You may be unable to log into Crypto.com because your credentials are wrong or due to another login authorization issue. If you cannot log in even after you have tried retyping your credentials and changing your password, you can contact the support team.
The most effective method for account recovery is by using your Private Key (12-word backup phrase), which will restore both your DeFi Wallet and your custodial holdings in your Blockchain.com Account.
If a user loses their private key, they can no longer access the wallet to spend, withdraw, or transfer coins. Therefore, it is imperative to save the private key in a secure location.
