If you're a Wirex user, you may need to link or unlink accounts to your Wirex card for various reasons, such as adding a new funding source or removing an old one. Fortunately, the process is straightforward and can be done in just a few steps.
Linking an account to your Wirex card
Step 1: Open the Wirex app and log in using your credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to the "Cards" section of the app.
Step 3: Select the card you want to link an account to.
Step 4: Click on "Linked Accounts."
Step 5: Choose the account you want to link, whether it's a traditional currency account, stablecoin, or crypto wallet, and click on the "Link" icon located on the account row.
Step 6: Once you've managed your linked accounts, click on "Save" on the upper right corner of the screen.
It is worth noting that you can link up to six accounts to your card and arrange their priority for your convenience. The priority order you set determines which account will be charged during a transaction. If the account currency you’ve prioritised does not have sufficient funds, the system will cycle through your accounts according to their priority until it finds an account with enough funds to complete the purchase.
Unlinking an account from your Wirex card
Step 1: Open the Wirex app and log in using your credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to the "Cards" section of the app.
Step 3: Select the card you want to unlink an account from.
Step 4: Click on "Linked Accounts."
Step 5: Choose the account you want to unlink and click on the "Unlink" icon located on the account row.
Step 6: Once you've managed your linked accounts, click on "Save" on the upper right corner of the screen.
Please note that at least one traditional currency account must be linked to your card. However, you can remove a traditional currency account by linking another traditional currency account and then unlinking the one you no longer want.
