WHAT IS AN SPL TOKEN?

Before we delve into the procedure, I believe it’s crucial to possess a fundamental understanding of Solana Tokens. So, what exactly is an SPL Token?

Connect your Solana Wallet
Provide your chosen Token Name
Enter your Token Symbol
Choose the Token Decimals — typically, 6 Decimals are used. However, if you’re fashioning a whitelist token, opt for 0 Decimals.

Upload the designated Token Image
Specify theToken Supply

Confirm the transaction (a payment of 0.5 SOL is required)

You can also Revoke Freeze and Mint Authority, also make your Token Immutable within the process.

Revoke Freeze Authority is needed to Create a Liquidity Pool. If you keep this authority, you will be able to freeze the token in your holder's wallet.
Revoke Mint Authority is important to attract investors. If you keep this authority, you would be able to mint more supply of the token and rug, so people feel insecure.
Making your Token Immutable means that you won’t be able to update token metadata: Name, Image, etc.

This is really important as our token will be more attractive to investors, which means more reach and more growth.
