How to connect, disconnect, and switch accounts with Metamask on 1inch | 1inch.io - Help Center? ›

To switch accounts, click your connected address at the bottom of the screen, then click "Disconnect". Then, on the main Metamask page, select the account you want to use and reconnect to 1inch with these directions.

From the wallet view, tap the account selector located centrally, at the top of the screen. Here you'll see each of your previously created or imported accounts; tap to switch to the one you need. It can be useful to rename them to avoid confusion.

When you open your MetaMask wallet, you will be able to see your current network at the top of the display. You can click on the down arrow next to where your current network is mentioned. After dropping down, you will see a list of different available networks.

In wallet view, tap the name of the currently selected account. On the account selector menu that appears, tap 'Add account or hardware wallet', then select 'Add new account'. The account will be added when you tap. If you want to change its name later, use the instructions here.

You can send ETH and tokens from another wallet to a new MetaMask account. Simply copy your new MetaMask public address and go to your existing wallet or exchange to send funds to your new wallet address. You can find your MetaMask address under account name (in the format 0x12r45... 6HJ9).

According to Metamask's official support site, it is not recommended to use multiple wallets in one Metamask account. They explicitly state that having more than one MetaMask wallet extension active in your browser simultaneously will cause problems, and none of them will work correctly.

How to disconnect Metamask. First, click your address in the upper right corner of the page. Then, click "disconnect".

Head to Settings > Accounts. Now, find the account you want to remove and click the three vertical dots next to it to access the 'More actions' menu. In this menu, simply hit 'Remove account'.

This happens because of the updated MetaMask Wallet API — the Ankr Staking-related networks you added prior to the MetaMask update stopped working correctly. To fix this problem, all you need to do is to delete the networks you added earlier, than add them back again.

From the homepage of your wallet, click on the network selector in the top left. Scroll down until you see the 'Additional networks' section. Alternatively, you can also search for the network to add in the search bar. Tap the 'Add' button next to the network to add it to your MetaMask instance.

Click your profile icon, and then click My Settings. Click Connect wallet > MetaMask. Note: You'll be prompted to install the MetaMask extension (browser) or app (phone) if you don't already have them. In the MetaMask extension or mobile app, enter your MetaMask wallet password, and then click Unlock.

If you can't find an answer in these resources, click on the 'Contact Support' button on https://support.metamask.io/ to speak to a support agent.

From the wallet view, tap the currently selected account to bring up the account selector. Tap 'Add account or hardware wallet' at the bottom of the menu. Hit 'Import account'. On this screen, paste in the private key of the account you want to import, or scan a QR code if supported by the other wallet.

Once logged into your account, click the three horizontal lines in the upper left corner of your Metamask wallet to open the side menu. Scroll down and tap Lock/Logout. Approve the confirmation dialog that pops up. This will log you out of your account.

Using the Metamask internal browser on iOS or Android
