If this is your first time receiving a PC Financial® card
To activate your new card, you'll need to have an online account at pcfinancial.ca (opens in a new window). If you don't have an account, you can create one here (opens in a new window).
Log in to your PC Financial® online account, via web at www.pcfinancial.ca/activate (opens in a new window) or via the mobile app
Go to ‘Accounts’
Select the card you would like to activate
Click on ‘Activate now’ and follow the onscreen prompt.
If you received a new card due to your current card being damaged
Your new card will be delivered to you active and can be used right away for online or in-store purchases.
However, you’re required to enable tap functionality on your card by following the steps below
Make a purchase at any physical store that accepts card payments.
Insert your card and enter your existing PIN when prompted.
After completing the transaction, tap functionality will be enabled on your card.
If you received a new card for other reasons (e.g., lost/stolen, product switch, card expiration etc.)
Please use one of the following options to activate your new card:
In-store (Our simple and convenient way)
Make a purchase at any physical store that accepts card payments.
Insert your card and enter your existing PIN when prompted.
Once your transaction is completed, your card will be activated and can be used in-store and online.
Online
Log in to your PC Financial® account, via web at www.pcfinancial.ca/activate or via the mobile app
Go to ‘Accounts’
Select the card you would like to activate
Click on ‘Activate now’ and follow the onscreen prompts.
