Accessing Marvel's Spider-Man 's The Heist story DLC isn't as elaborate as having to find an NPC in New York City, or as simple as it starting once it is downloaded. If you're looking to start the new Black Cat-centric mission here's how you can right away.
HOW TO ACCESS AND START THE HEIST DLC
- Continue the save file of your choosing.
- Press the map button (the touchpad) to access your litany of menus
- Scroll to the DLC tab using the L1 or R1 buttons
- Once in the DLC menu, select "The Heist"
It should be noted that any progress you've gained before a checkpoint will be lost. So don't start the DLC if you're in the middle of a warehouse raid or boss battle.
And that's all there is to it. Once "Turf Wars" and "Silver Lining" release in November and December, you can access those DLC the same way.
Marvel's Spider-Man The Heist DLC is available now as both a separate story or part of the The City That Never Sleeps bundle. If you choose to purchase The Heist by itself, it will cost $9.99 but if you buy the bundle with all three parts of the story it'll cost $24.99.
Here's the synopsis for The Heist story DLC :
"While investigating the robbery of a New York art museum, Spider-Man and Mary Jane Watson find themselves closing in on criminal super villain Felicia Hardy aka Black Cat. The chase will take them deep into Manhattan's shadowy world of crime families."
The Heist DLC will include another mission and three brand new suits to use in battle. We don't know what each suit can do yet, but they're sure to give players a leg up on beating down bad guys.
One of the new suits is based on Spider-Man UK from the Marvel Comics story, Spider-Verse. The second is Scarlett Spider's new costume from his solo series, and the other is an original suit that's a variation on the white Spider suit that has become synonymous with the PS4 game.
Have you tried The Heist yet? What is your favorite part of the DLC? Let us know in the comments section below.
