While you don't have to complete any side quests if you don't want to, the rewards are definitely worth it. If you've ever wondered just how many side quests are in Nier: Automata, you've come to the right place.
How Many Side Quests Are In Nier: Automata?
There are a total of 60 side quests in Nier: Automata.
These are divided into six different categories depending on which character they are available for. For example, some side quests can only be accepted and completed when playing as 2B, while others can be completed by any character.
Below you can find a list of every side quest in the game, which NPC to receive it from, and if there are specific chapters you need to complete the quest within. Most side quests can be accepted as soon as they are available and then completed at your leisure.
Most side quests will become unavailable after the main quest "Missile Supply Mission". Be sure to complete your side quests before undertaking this main story quest, or use chapter select to go back and complete them later.
