How does Google works? Why Google is so fast? (2024)

Google has lot of algorithms and lot of factors to determine which answer would be most relevant to you.

Algorithms are special factors that which google takes decision how relevant that article are.

In this article…

I will explain how the google search engine works step by step.

So keep reading till the end to understand how does Google search so fast.

First of all, let's know about Google

If you wanna read original article which better graphic head to the link is have given below..

Google was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin in 1998. It is an American multinational technology company which is based on internet-related product and services.

Google is a big search engine. Google is filled with fully AI-based products and services.

Google has many products like Google maps, Google playbook, google movies and much more.

Now let's deep dive into,

Basically, Google is a platform that allows other blogs and news websites to show their content in google search results.

For this Google doesn't charge anything from authors and publishers.

Google only provides medium to the people to read valuable information from these articles.

Every year billion of new articles are added into the web.

So Google continuously searches for those articles to add to its server data.

Whenever Google finds something new they send their bots or spider (Special coding tools)

to the new pages and website for crawling and indexing into google.

And now, you are a little bit confused about crawling & indexing hang on!

Here it is,

Google has special coding software tool or programs for analysing new webpages which are called bots or spider.

The first step for the spider is to find out the pages exist on the web. There isn't a central registry of all web pages,

so Google must constantly search for new pages and add them to its list of known pages.

so that google knows about the particular page this article is newly added into

the web for a particular purpose and that process of discovery is known as crawling.

After a page is discovered, Google's second most important work is to understand what the page is about.

Hence google sends its bots to the newly listed or updated pages.

These bots help Google to understand the whole content of an article.

The bots or spiders find keywords and category from pages by using its 100's of algorithms and lists them according to their relevancy.

They also check the external and internal links of that page and their content and

much more things to decide how much post is sharing valuable and effective information.

This process is called indexing.

Google, stores all data and information into its large internet servers.

And now Google has done its 80% of work as a search engine.

And the less 20% is,

After finishing the 80% work of crawling and indexing of webpages. Google is ready to show results.

So whenever we make a search query on google.

Google quickly looks into their large internet servers and finds the most relevant information for these arched term and arranges into particular formate by its relevance.

And yup.. finally we see results from 1-100 pages on google. We find the most relevant answers to our query on the first page.

Still confused

Let's take an example

If we search "Amitabh Bachchan hight" in Google.com.

Google will send it's bots to its indexed data and find the most relevant articles/information related to keywords.

Amitabh Bachchan height

And there is a lot of factors and algorithm google uses to find a correct answer is super advanced.

It uses lots of SEO parameters algorithms to bring the right information.

It would be something like,

• Which articles were written with the title tag "Amitabh backhand height"?

• What keywords are in the meta tag of the page?

• Which pages are linked to this article?

• What is Domain authority of the website?

• How old is the website?

• What is the caption of images in the page?

These are the basic SEO parameters that Google check before showing any result.

There are also more 100's of SEO parameters or algorithms.

"the process of finding the most relevant information is done in milliseconds"

That's why Google is very fast in terms of showing the correct result.

Its algorithms and advanced SEO factors are the main reason that Google is so fast nowadays.

How much we can trust on Google

When it comes to making a search and finding the right answer how much we can trust on Google?

Or

As we know that Google is an online platform or a search engine no doubt it has super-advanced AI (artificial intelligence) but Google is not a human being.

Google is not a super-intelligent human being that its result will be right at every time.

There are some cases in which google

Might give you incorrect information.

I know it is not believable but that's true.

In some scenario, Google might give you the wrong information but don't worry it is in a very rare case which is up to 2℅-3℅ out of 100℅.

Don't believe in my words,

Take an Example:-

Go to Google and make a search about a long tail keyword which is

best business opportunity in the world

It will show you "forever living product" but that's not true because it is a direct selling company and MLM company (Multilevel marketing).

In 2020 the best direct selling company is Amway you can Google on it. This is a wrong result that Google is showing Now.

Maybe Google fixes this problem soon by it's an algorithm update because it is not the right information.

Now, Google is more strict about its mistakes.

And improving day by day so fast against these kinds of problems so that people never get any wrong information.

So another question is,

As I said Google is AI-based online platform although it's algorithms are advanced but Google is not a human being.

So

As we know google provides information from its indexed pages and stored data from internet servers.

Whenever we make a query about keywords that are still strange for Google or google haven't any exact data for that particular keyword or search term.

Then Googles uses the most relevant information for the keyword form its servers and show them into results.

Let's take the keyword again,

"Best business opportunities in the world"

Whenever we search about this term

Google quickly starts finding pages in which the keyword

"Best business opportunities in the world" exists in the title and meta tags(description).

But due to insufficient information or indexed pages on that particular title,

Google shows results for Pages in which this keyword are used somewhere in articles. That's how we get the wrong information.

Google-algorithm

Yes, we can confuse Google bots and we can force Google to show our article into results.

This is another big reason because of that Google might show wrong information.

Well, this is very complex but I will only explain the basics of one method.

So let's dive into it,

If you want to show your information in search results

Then there is one way which I am going to explain step by step.

Note- it will only work with the low competitive keywords

So you need to find a low competitive keyword and write an article about the particular keyword with full SEO ( Search engine optimising).

Write multiple articles for the topic including keywords from different websites if possible and then publish.

And yup!

You made it, you manipulated Google. After a couple of days, it will start showing your articles on that keyword into Google.

But it isn't so easy that you are thinking. Google is improving itself day by day to reduce this problem.

But I would highly recommend you guys don't do this ever because many people blindly trust on Google.

And Google is made to Give the most relevant and correct information

To the people.

Conclusion

Google is an AI-based program and has billions of indexed data from high authority websites.

Google only uses it's indexed data to show results in the search engine that's how Google search engine works.

The reason for Google search is so fast is because the whole process executes in milliseconds

Don't blindly trust on Google because sometimes Google might be wrong in this case you need to check which website is providing the information.

But Don't worry this is only 1%-2%.

Google has millions of spiders to crawl websites and check it's quality regularly.

So the chances of getting wrong information are negligible.

Hope you learned something new today,

Let me know in the comment section.

Thank you,
