You can send a Money Request to anyone with an email address. When the Money Request is paid, the money is added to your PayPal account balance.
Here’s how to send a Money Request:
- Log in to your PayPal account.
- ClickSend & Requestnear the top of the page.
- Click the Request tab at the top.
- Enter a name, email address or mobile number and click Next.
- Enter the amount and select the currency.
- Select the request type.
- Enter a note (optional.)
- Review your request and click Request Now.
Tips:
- We email the recipient your Money Request.
- We email you when the Money Request is paid.
Here’s how to request money using the PayPal App with your mobile phone:
- Tap Send/ Request, then Get paid.
- Enter the name,email address, or mobile phone number of the person you'rerequesting the money from.
- Enter the amount you’re requesting.
- Tap Next.
- Tap Request Now to complete the request.
