How do I disable Gmail login alerts?
Environment
- Workspace Admin console
- Users receivesecurity notification emails upon signing into Gmail from a new device
Solution
You can disable the Suspicious Login alert in the Admin console; however, users will continue to receive the alert if they sign in to a new device.
Disable Suspicious Login alert

From the Admin console Home page, go to Settings Security RulesSuspicious login.
- SelectActions.
- In theSend email notificationsection, uncheck the following:
- All super Administrators
- Send email notifications
- Click NEXT: REVIEW.
- Click UPDATE RULE.
Enable 2-step verification
If you find that a suspicious login activity is actually a legitimate sign-in by a user, we recommend enrolling your users in 2-Step Verification.
Cause
Google sends a Suspicious Login alert when Google detects a sign-in attempt that doesn't match a user's normal behavior, such as a sign-in from an unusual location.
