How do I create an account?
If you don’t have a Sandboxx account yet, go to sandboxx.us and click Sign Up.
You can sign up for an accountusing your email address, phone number,Facebook account, Google account, orApple ID. Signing up and creating a Sandboxx account is free.
How can I change the email address on my account?
1. Go to your Profile on the bottom right of Sandboxx
2. Then, click the “Gear” icon in the top right
3. Click on the option to change your email
4. Change your email to your now corrected email
5. Click “Save” and your new email will be assigned to your account
Sending Letters
How do I address a letter to someone at basic training?
Each basic training location has its own address format, so it’s important to make sure you use the proper mailing address to ensure that your letter gets to your loved one.

Where does Sandboxx ship overnight?
Sandboxx ships overnight to the following bases; MCRD Parris Island, MCRD San Diego, MCB Quantico, Camp Pendleton, JBSA Lackland, CGTC Cape May, RTC Great Lakes, Fort Moore, Fort Jackson, Fort Leonard Wood and Fort Sill.
How long does it take for Sandboxx letters to arrive?
Sandboxx Letters sent Monday through Thursday before 4:30pm EST will be delivered the next day. Letters sent Friday before 4:30pm EST will be delivered on Monday. All Letters sent Friday after 4:30pm EST (to include letters written on Saturday/Sunday) will be delivered on Tuesday.
Can I fix my letter once I’ve hit “send”?
You can fix the street address and the spelling of a name in your letter but will need to contact us in order to do so. Reach our Customer Happiness team to get started.
Can I send a letter from a different country?
Yes, you can send a Sandboxx Letter internationally. We may need to manually enter your international address into your account so that your recruit can properly write back to you. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness team for assistance with international addresses.
Can I send letters from my computer?
Yes, you can log in to our web applicationusing your existing Sandboxx account credentials to send a Sandboxx Letter from your laptop or desktop. The process is the same as it is on our mobile app.
Can I send letters to deployed service members through Sandboxx?
Yes, you can send Sandboxx Letters to overseas military addresses (APO/FPO). Those acronyms stand for Army Post Office and Fleet Post Office. Generally, overseas mail for Army and Air Force personnel go to APOs, and mail for Marine and Navy personnel go to FPOs. However, that is not a hard and fast rule, so use the APO/FPO that you have for your recipient. Learn more about sending letters to APO and FPO addresses.
Is Sandboxx only for boot camp?
No, Sandboxx can be used to send mail to any military base in the world. A majority of Sandboxx letters are sent to basic traininglocations, but you can send a Sandboxxletter anywhere in the world. As long as the letter you are sending has a real address on it, we’ll send it anywhere.

Can recruits use Sandboxx?
No, your recruit doesnot need the Sandboxxapp before you cansend any mail to him or her. You canenter your recipient’s address in Sandboxxand send a letter to them even if the recipient is not listed in the Sandboxxapp.
