What is HAGS?

HAGS may cause performance issues and failures with OBS and hardware encoders. It is recommended to be disabled while using OBS to avoid stability issues.
How to disable HAGS
Windows 10
- Click here to be immediately taken to the relevant settings page.
- Alternatively, go to Settings → System → Display → Graphics Settings.
From there, set "Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling" to OFF, then reboot your computer.
Windows 11
- Click here to be immediately taken to the relevant settings page.
- Alternatively, go to Settings → System → Display → Graphics Settings → Change default graphics settings
From there, set "Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling" to OFF, then reboot your computer.
