Grading Scale
Ankeny Community School District recognizes the following grading scale as the common grading scale used within the district.

| B | 82.5 | 3.00 | 4.00 |
| B- | 79.5 | 2.67 | 3.67 |
| C+ | 76.5 | 2.33 | 3.33 |
| C | 72.5 | 2.00 | 3.00 |
| C- | 69.5 | 1.67 | 2.67 |
| D+ | 66.5 | 1.33 | 2.33 |
| D | 62.5 | 1.00 | 2.00 |
| D- | 59.5 | 0.67 | 1.67 |
| F | 0 | 0.00 | 0.00 |
* Weighted grade points are assigned to AP and post-secondary classes
I = Incomplete – no credit
EX = Excused (not included in GPA)
W = Dropped class (Inappropriately placed)
P = Pass for credit (not included in GPA)
AU = Audit – no credit (not included in GPA)
AW = Removed from class by Administrator
