As the Genshin Impact Traveler is trapped in an unknown condition, a mysterious girl, Nahida, decides to come to aid the protagonist. However, she can’t blatantly burst out the truth, so instead, she grants subtle hints while letting the main character figure out the truth themselves. In this process, Nahida will ask several questions, and Travelers need to contemplate, interpret their thoughts, and finally, submit their conclusion on the situation. Travelers will enter the Contemplating state several times in this quest. Sometimes, after interpreting a thought, the option will light up, indicating that players can Associate it with another thought. Once players are done contemplating, they need to use the Submit Conclusion button to answer Nahida.

After this scene, the Traveler needs to walk around and figure out whose dream they’re stuck in. Once the protagonist asks around, they’ll eventually figure out that Nilou is the unwilling host for the loop. The proof of this is the fact that the Nilou manages to bring back the original appearance of the Padisarah. Understanding that this is a dream, the dancer decides that the people deserve to witness the Dance of Sabzeruz. After all, the Sages can’t sanction them for what happened in a dream.
