What Happens if I Fail my exam?
You can purchase a retake if you are unable to pass your exam on your first try. You can retake the exam right away by paying a $50 retake fee.
$250 is the retake charge for implementing SAFe. After a 10-day waiting period, you can attempt the exam a third time if you don’t pass the retake. There is a 30-day waiting period before making a fourth and any further attempts.
Exam retakes are available for purchase through your learning plan. You may find the “retake” button next to your exam. By clicking this option, you will be able to purchase your retake exam on our payment site.
What is the Retake Policy for Exams?
With the exception of practice and sample exams, the following rules apply to all Scaled Agile exams:
· The first exam you take after finishing your course is regarded as your “first attempt” and not a retake.
· There is no waiting period before retaking a certification exam in the second time that it is unsuccessfully attempted on the first try.
· You can immediately follow up your first exam attempt with a second try (first retake) for a fee.
· A third attempt requires a 10-day wait before the exam can be retaken for a fee
· A fourth attempt requires a 30-day wait before the exam can be retaken for a fee
· Exam retakes are prohibited after an exam has been passed with success. Unless an exam update has been announced, the candidate is not permitted to retake the same exam.
Based on the number of prior exam attempts, you will be able to take the exam after paying the retake price. But there’s no cutoff date if you want to retake it.
Note: Every attempt at a retake is subject to a charge. The exact retake price for each exam is listed on the exam website.
How do I purchase a retake for my exam?
These are the procedures for ordering a retake of an exam.
· You should use the Learn -> My Learning section to navigate back to your exam from the SAFe Studio main page.
· Choose the course that you would like to buy a retake for.
· To access the exam, scroll below.
· The exam’s “Launch” button now reads “Purchase” or “Retake,” which you can click to add the “Retake” item to your cart and make a transaction. (The Buy and Retake buttons lead to the same location.)

Do I need to purchase a retake if I have not taken the exam yet?
