Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, both Harvard alumni, first got involved with bitcoin in 2012 during the “Wild Wild West” days of cryptocurrency.
At that time, they understood the importance of building a bridge from the old world of finance to the new world of money.
When they began their journey of building Gemini in 2014, their goal was simple: build a world-class cryptocurrency exchange and custodian.
Gemini launched in October 2015 and has been growing ever since!
