Gathering of the Beast Council Missions

Complete these Missions to find every Waddle Dee in Gathering of the Beast Council:

Venture Deep into the Secret Passage

The Secret Passage is found right at the very start of the level. On the right-hand side you'll see two torches: head through them to find the secret passage, then go beyond the Green Gotcha Canister to get to the end! You'll find some Star Coins and a Crash Dispenser here.

If you intend to use the Crash Despenser in the Gorimondo rematch, we suggest you use the Time Crash version: the normal Crash ability can't kill Gorimondo even at full power, forcing you to fall back on firing back his attack's dropped Stars for the rest of the fight! Time Crash meanwhile allows you to touch him multiple times for the kill.

Hidden Waddle Dee 1 - Car Highway Run

The first Hidden Waddle Dee is found right after the Gorimondo rematch. When you enter Car Mouthful mode after the fight, you'll see the Waddle Dee appear at the end of the highway: you'll have about 30 seconds to boost along the thin highway, make it to the end, eject from the car and touch the Waddle Dee's cage before it disappears.

If you don't make it, remember that you can take the Blue Warp Star located up the ladder to give it another go.

Defeat Sillydillo in 1:30

This Challenge tasks you with defeating Sillydillo in 1:30. Before starting, you'll have the option of choosing from four Copy Abilities: Drill, Cutter, Fire and Spikes. We suggest the Cutter for the following reasons:

• The Cutter lets you fire blades that can then hover in mid-air, which you can place strategically so that Sillydillo runs into them during his arena-crossing moves, making it very versatile in this fight. You can even hover it in place and charge it up for more damage!
• The Cutter also lets Kirby perform devastating melee combos if you use the attack button while very close to Sillydillo, particularly with the Buzz-Saw Cutter evolution. With that, it's possible to defeat Sillydillo in under 40 seconds!
• We recommend the Buzz-Saw Cutter evolution due to its higher damage output. You can find the Blueprints for it in Searching the Oasis in Originull Wasteland.
• Unlike the first time you had a Sillydillo Mission objective, it's totally fine to get hit here.

Hidden Waddle Dee 2 - Sillydillo Arena

The second Hidden Waddle Dee is simply to locate. After you defeat Sillydillo, check the right-hand side of the arena near the back-right corner for this Treasure Chest on a lower ledge.

Hidden Waddle Dee 3 - Daring Pipe Jump

The third Hidden Waddle Dee is found in the pipe-rolling section after defeating Sillydillo. Here, there will be two jumps where you can jump a early off the ramps to crash through metal boxes into a lower section.

The Hidden Waddle Dee is found at the end of the second one, but the timing is very difficult. If you look at our screenshot above, you'll see that there are metal beams along both sides of the path: we recommend jumping at the second-to-last beam in order to make it through.

Beat Clawroline Without Getting Hit

This Mission's obejctive is to beat Clawroline without getting hit once, which is harder than it sounds! Here are our tips on how to do it:

• The first thing you can do is right after the Pipe Mouthful mode before this fight! If you got the Deep Sleep Blueprint from Burning, Charning Power Plant, inhale the Noddy and press A to send Kirby to bed. When he wakes, he'll get a random Power Up! While the Health Boost is useless for this Mission, the Attack Boost and Speed Boost Power Ups can be great in either ending the fight earlier or avoiding Clawroline's attacks.
• Second, right after the Noddy, you'll face a Sir Kibble and a Blade Knight. If you got the Meta Knight Sword Blueprint by winning the Meta Knight Cup at the Coliseum in Waddle Dee Town, you'll get that here! We recommend the Meta Knight Sword over any of the other Copy Abilities because of how fast and powerful it is, and Clawroline telegraphs her attacks pretty clearly which makes it easy to get out of their way.
  • If you forget to pick up the Sword ability from the Blade Knight, you can also inhale one of Clawroline's throwing knives to the same effect!
• While it may be tempting to pick up the Ranger ability because of its, well, range, it's actually very difficult to do significant damage while Clawroline is attacking up the scaffolding because you'll also have to avoid her throwing knives. Further, on the ground there isn't a lot of time to charge up a powerful shot before she attacks again.
• When Clawroline is using her throwing knives, NEVER run towards her, she can still hit you that way!
• When Clawroline is leaping down at you from the scaffolding, make sure you're in the air so that you avoid the shockwave of her landing. Floating is the easiest way to do this.

Hidden Waddle Dee 4 - Clawroline Arena

The fourth Hidden Waddle Dee is found at Clawroline's arena. After defeating her, climb up the tall scaffolding tower to the left of the way of the roller coaster, via the yellow ladder. The Waddle Dee will be at the top!

Storm Tornado Blueprint

The Storm Tornado's Blueprint is found just before you go down the roller coaster. Check to the right-hand side of its platform to find it hidden in a small alcove!

Hidden Waddle Dee 5 - Coaster Star Switches

The final Hidden Waddle Dee of the level is accessed during and after the roller coaster finale. During the roller coaster you may notice some Green Star Switches on the left and right sides of the track. You'll need to lean Coaster Mouth Kirby into them so that he presses them. Each one will cause the next one to appear further up the track.

Once you hit all six Green Star Switches, when you get to the end a seventh one will appear on the left. Press it to raise the nearby Star Bars and save the Waddle Dee!
