However, in its success, it was also controversial. The company that produced it, Milton Bradley, was accused by its competitors of selling "sex in a box". That accusation is speculated to be because it was the first popular American game to use human bodies as playing pieces.

Originally manufactured by Milton Bradley, Twister was introduced in 1966 and has gone on to sell tens of millions of copies. In 1969, Mr. Foley and Mr. Rabens were awarded United States Patent 3,454,279 for their invention, “Apparatus for Playing a Game Wherein the Players Constitute the Game Pieces.”

Spread the Twister game plastic sheet on the floor, removing all wrinkles. If there are a lot of small wrinkles, place it in the dryer on the lowest heat for a few minutes to smooth out the wrinkles. You can also use a hair dryer. The folds in a brand new game are not a problem.

Being Eliminated

I think the language makes it a 12. My son has seen this kind of language in films but it really depends on your child. Overall it's a great action packed film that you can watch with your kids, when many other films are too violent or have way more language issues.

The sexual innuendos that the game derived made some executives at Milton Bradley feel very uncomfortable, as it went against their clean-cut image as a company. Even retailers were confused by it.
