They are a very apologetic credit card company. I have had them since December, paid my $95 program fee, and they sent me a card with $300 on it. Since then, I've been paying my bill on time. The bill is due on the 11th of each month. Today, I received my bill, and they are telling me that I missed May, even though each month the payment comes out of my account. So, they suspended my account and told me that I had to pay more money to get the suspension lifted. They said I would have to go to my bank and get a letter confirming the payment was made. I don't understand why I should have to go to the bank if the payments were made. Every time I talk to customer service, I have trouble understanding because they are not native English speakers. When I ask for someone who speaks English well, they tell me to call back and try to reach an English-speaking representative. The representative I spoke to today was very rude. So, if you're thinking about getting this card, I advise against it.

This company is unsatisfactory and needs to be shut down. I reported it to the BBB because I believe these people are scammers. They took my money and then told me I wasn't approved because of too many attempts to pay the $95 fee. These people should not conduct business and need to be put out of business as soon as possible.

Please explain how you make a payment 3 weeks before it’s due and it is considered an extra payment for the previous month? No idea but that’s there practice. Poor, slow customer DISservice. If you’re rebuilding your credit pick a reputable bank, because they are not reputable.

Company terrible. The first payment was supposed to be directly withdrawn, but their system messed up. I got charged a late fee through no fault of my own. Customer service didn't care or want to help. I paid the balance off and will never use the card again.

This is the most unorganized company on this planet. In July, I paid off my card for $299 for a $300 credit card limit, only to find out on July 6, 2023, two fraud charges - one for $199 and the other for $49 and some cents - from Ohio or somewhere. Since July, I have told them these were not my charges. I always asked to speak to the supervisor and spoke to at least eight so-called supervisors, and did whatever they asked me to do: send an email, send them a fax, and copy my ID, and I was sent a new card. I never again used either the old card or the new one and wasted at least half an hour arguing and explaining the same situation over and over, only to get transferred to another department and waste more time, then to another department, and finally to the fraud department.
I keep a record of the date and time of all the employees I have spoken with, and it's December, and nothing is done to restore my account. Each time I try to call, they would answer, "This is a call to collect a debt," and I would tell them I have paid this card in full, and I am not paying for two fraud charges that were made around July 6th.
They gave me the names and phone numbers of the two charges and when I tried to call them, the call would go to some voicemail and then transfer me to another department, and no one responded because they were fraud.
Then I found out that they are trying to collect $433 from me saying they were my charges, and they put that on my credit report, and I contacted TransUnion that I have been trying to get them to remove these two fraud charges since July, and it is December 2023.
No one seems to know what they are doing, and I am so frustrated with this inefficiency. I asked them why they are still accepting charges when since July, I told them I have not used either the old card or the new one and that these were fraud charges.
Then they said I have to pay interest and I told them why should I if these are not my charges, and mentioned a late charge... really! They asked if anyone could have used my card and I told them I have my card all the time and live alone, and no one had access to my card.
I think there is someone dishonest who sends out the new cards to a client and takes the number because how else can someone use my card and number.
This situation is still not resolved, and I will not pay them anything, and it looks like I would have to get a lawyer. I threatened to report them to the BBB and the fraud department... so please don't ever get involved with this company. I have never had such horrible, uncooperative employees and service, and have spoken to so many different 'supervisors', and no one has done anything. It's like I am talking to a wall.

Horrible. Scammers. I received the card in the mail, called to pay the program fee and was told that my application was rejected when I attempted to pay. So I asked the agent AND her supervisor that you mean to tell me that you sent me the card and expect me to pay for the program fee on a card I can’t use? They said that is correct. How does that make sense? While writing this review I saw the Forbes article that said to RUN from this company! Glad I don’t have to deal with them! Everything happens for a reason!

What is the First Digital Card credit limit?
Reply
Chip Lupo, Credit Card Writer
@CLoop
The First Digital Card credit limit is $300 or more. Everyone who gets approved for First Digital Card is guaranteed a credit limit of at least $300, and particularly creditworthy applicants could get limits a lot higher than that. The higher an applicant's credit score and income are, the higher the starting credit limit is likely to be.
The First Digital Card credit limit that you start with isn't necessarily your credit line forever. You can ask to get a credit limit increase by calling the...

The First Digital Card does not offer a rental car insurance benefit. Even though the First Digital Card doesn't have rental car insurance, this perk is one of the handful of credit card benefits that still come with many credit card offers. If you'd like a credit card with rental car insurance, there are plenty of options.
In general, credit card rental car insurance provides coverage against damage and theft of a rental vehicle, usually up to the vehicle's actual...

The First Digital Mastercard® credit score requirement is 500 or better. That means people with bad credit or better have a shot at getting approved for the First Digital Card.
You should note that while your credit score is an important factor, there are plenty of other things that will impact your chances of being approved for the First Digital Card, too. Some other key criteria include your income, existing debt load, number of open accounts, recent credit inquiries, employment...

Brianne Larch, WalletHub Credit Card Analyst
@BrianneLarch
The First Digital Card APR is 35.99%. That's one of the most expensive credit card APRs on the market, and the average credit card charges around 23.1%. Therefore, it's not a good idea to carry a balance on this card. The APR for cash advances (using your card like a debit card to withdraw cash) is equally high (35.99%). There is no penalty APR for late payments, although there is a hefty late fee.

The First Digital Mastercards requires a checking account to apply.
The application is available online, and First Digital's website says you can get a decision in as little as 60 seconds.
