And now Ms Campbell is sharing her top tips for earning significant side cash -without leaving your house.

But this peaceful past time could also be hugely beneficial to your pocket, as Canna Campbell explains that followers of her book The $1000 Project have taken to growing seedlings of Bonsai and fruit trees from the comfort of their own home for extra cash.

Bonsai trees are earning green fingered entrepreneurs more than $400 a month, according to Ms Campbell, who adds that those cultivating fruit plants can sell their produce at local markets once ripe.

2. Dog sitting

Offering to care for peoples pets in your own home while they're away on holidays can be a lucrative side business, Ms Campbell advised.

It might seem ridiculous, but the money coach says that renting your clothes, accessories, handbags, suits and even cars is becoming an increasingly popular way of earning some extra cash.
