When do I need to generate the Transaction Authorization Code?
You will need to input the
Transaction Authorization Code (TAC)
- TAC is a new code that has been introduced with Transaction Signing
It is a 6-digit code generated by your device and this is needed to complete the following online transactions:
Adding a new payee.
Performing high-value funds transfers.
Updating your personal particulars.
when you perform the below internet banking transactions:
Adding a new payee
- Add new payee (Other Citibank Account).
- Add payee (Pay by Electronic Transfer).
- Add payee (Pay an individual with Citibank Global Transfer).
- Add payee (Pay by Telegraphic Transfer).
- Add payee (Pay by Cheque).
- Add payee (Pay other bank's Credit Card).
- Add payee (Pay Billing Organisation)*.
* You can opt to use Online Authorization Code (OAC) to activate payee. OAC can be obtained via SMS or calling CitiPhone Hotline at (65) 6225 5225 with your T-PIN.
Performing a high-value funds transfer

Important Notice
If you suspect there have been unauthorised transactions on your account such as unauthorised citi mobile® token registration or unauthorised add payee via citibank online
Step 1: Call Citiphone using the number found on the back of your Citi card or contact your Relationship Manager
Step 2: Change your Citibank Online User ID, Password and ATM PIN immediately
Do not share personal information, such as account numbers, passwords, National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) number and other personal information over the telephone, email, SMS or internet, unless you know who you are dealing with.
