100 Day Upgrade

If you’re 70 and under, you can increase your standard 50 day trip duration up to 100 days for one round-trip.

What is considered a family for travel insurance? 
We see a family as one or two parents and their unmarried, dependent children under the age of 18 (or 21 if in full-time education).
So, whether you’re a single parent family or two parents travelling with kids, you can be covered. You can also cover bigger groups, ideal for extended family, or couples if there are only two of you travelling.
Can I travel alone with family travel insurance?
You can be covered if you decide to take a trip on your own or without the kids, as long as it’s not a business trip.
To make sure your policy covers you individually, check you’ve declared any pre-existing medical conditions and that the destination you’re travelling to is covered by your policy.
Do I need travel insurance for my child?
Travel insurance is important for people of any age, including your children. For example, it could cover your costs if your child has a medical emergency abroad.
By taking out a policy for your whole family, you can enjoy your trip knowing we’re there to support you if something goes wrong.
Please note, for your child to be covered by travel insurance, they must be travelling with an adult.
How can I make changes my travel insurance policy?
You can make changes to your policy before your trip starts, subject to the T&Cs of your policy.
If you need to update your medical details or add any optional extras, please login to your My Staysure account. You might need to pay an extra premium.
Please note, we can’t reduce your cover in return for a partial refund. So, check you’re happy you’ve got the right level of cover when you take out your policy.
Do I need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to be covered?
To be covered for COVID on our policies, you need to have had all doses of the COVID vaccine you’ve been offered, including any booster jabs.
You can also be covered if you can’t have the vaccine due to a medical exemption.
If you’ve refused any doses of the COVID vaccine you won’t be covered for COVID related claims.
