When this happens there is a system.
Tell the buyer to return for a full refund.
If they pay for return shipping, refund the original payment on arrival.
If they want you to pay for return shipping, tell them to open a Not As Described dispute.
You will be sending a Return Shipping Label.
You can do this even if you have a No Returns policy, because you cannot have a No Refunds policy.
Refund the original payment on arrival.
If they do not return the item, you don't owe anything.
You can then add a Response to any feedback like" Refused to return for full refund" which politely tells the world that the buyer was not all that unhappy with their purchase.
And you either have a good item for resale (albeit less profit) or can see that the buyer was actually right. It could happen.
