As the title of the topic explains, is it possible for a dwarf noble to become heir to Orzammar when Harrowmont passes away for being a terrible king? I read many people can or cannot, which doesn't give me real confirmation.
Can anyone who played as a dwarf noble or know the real answer please explain this or show some sort of proof thank you!
- You also forgot Queen. The Dwarf Noble can be female as well. And since option was not explored, we'll never know. Unless Bioware intends to bring the Warden back for a DA III, there's a slim chance of that.--Unic of the borg (talk) 22:32, March 1, 2011 (UTC)
Unfortunately no, if you are a Dwarf Noble, you cannot become King. Believe me, I tried everything I could when I played my Noble to become King, and then have Bhelen killed. Unfortunately, as they state at the end of the Dwarf Noble origin, your name is stripped from the records, and you essentially, don't exist to the Dwarves anymore.
However, at the end of the game, if you didn't make the ultimate sacrifice, and instead you let someone else do it, or performed the ritual with Morrigan, then at the coronation for the new monarch, Gorim will be there, and he will tell you that your name has been restored, and the Assembly are making you a Paragon. So not all is lost, since Paragons are held in higher regard than the Dwarven monarchy anyway.
- I'm pretty sure that in the epilogue, on top of being made a paragon, Harrowmont will name you as his successor to the thrown. I realize that his does not guarantee the thrown, but being an Aeducan and a paragon, I'm pretty sure you would get the job. I guess the only question is how long does Harrowmont live. It's the same with Human Noble, you can either become Prince/Princess Consort, and you can also take over the Teyrnir of Gwaren, (Loghain's old Teyrnir) however, it doesn't have any impact on future play throughs, such as DLC's or the Awakening expansion. Yeah I -just- played dwarf Noble, and unless you get an opportunity to play the Warden in a future game, its not possible. Xaln (talk) 03:23, March 2, 2011 (UTC)
- the problem is that not even the prologue states that you become king or queen. I played a dwarf noble, selected harrowmont as king, he hinted that he would make me his successor, but then the epilogue mentions how he dies shortly afterwards and no mention is made of my warden being made queen. It did mentioned how my warden was restored privileges to house aeducan and was made a paragon, but no queen title. Wich means even in death Bhelen won and kept me from the throne........ damn him (shakes fist angry) Shakduhn (talk) 04:08, March 2, 2011 (UTC)
